Why Our Grooming Prices Are Increasing After Two Years

For the past two years, we have worked hard to keep our grooming prices the same—even as the cost of providing safe, professional grooming has continued to rise.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to adjust our prices. This was not a decision we made lightly, and we want to be open about why this change is necessary.

Grooming Is More Than a Haircut

Every appointment includes much more than bathing and trimming your dog. Before we begin, we consider your dog’s age, health, skin and coat condition, behavior, comfort level, and individual needs.

Our one-dog—or one-family—at-a-time approach allows us to create a quieter, less stressful experience. Your dog is not moved through a busy assembly line or left waiting among multiple unfamiliar pets. Instead, each appointment receives focused, hands-on attention in a calm environment.

This is especially important for puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and pets that have struggled in traditional salon settings.

The Cost of Providing Quality Care Has Increased

During the past two years, the cost of professional shampoos and conditioners, disinfectants, grooming tools, equipment maintenance, utilities, insurance, scheduling services, laundry, and other essential supplies has continued to increase.

Professional grooming also requires ongoing education, equipment care, safety training, and time outside of the appointment itself. Each of these investments helps us provide the level of cleanliness, skill, and care that your dog deserves.

Although we have absorbed these increases for as long as possible, keeping our former prices would eventually require us to rush appointments, take on more dogs at one time, reduce the quality of the products we use, or cut back on the individualized care we provide. Those are compromises we are not willing to make.
